Format for electronic copies

Format for Briefs
The preferred format for you to transmit these documents to CDBrief is electronic format, in either Microsoft Word version 6.0 or later or WordPerfect version 6.1 or later.
Alternatively, you can scan these documents into PDF format, or provide us the paper copy and we will arrange for scanning.
Format for cases, statutes and other legal authority.
The preferred format for you to transmit these documents to CDBrief is electronic format, in either Microsoft Word version 6.0 or later, WordPerfect version 6.1 or later, or ASCII. We recommend you use single column format, with Times New Roman 12 point font. Each case should be sent as a separate file, with a filename indicating the case cite, e.g. "101 Wn.App. 205 ".
Format for Report of Proceeding
The preferred format for you to transmit the Report of Proceeding to CDBrief is electronic format. Normally the electronic format is available from the Court Reporter in ASCII format. Other desirable electronic formats are Microsoft Word version 6.0 or later, and WordPerfect version 6.1 or later.
Alternatively, you can scan these documents into PDF format, or provide us the paper copy and we will arrange for scanning.

Sending material to CDBrief, LLC

You can send us electronic material using any of the following methods:

  1. CD-ROM, sent to CDBrief at the street address given below.
  2. As an attachment to an electronic mail message. In your electronic mail message, be sure to identify the case name. Our server limits attachments to 10 Megabytes, so larger files must be sent by CD-ROM.
