Basic CDBrief: $1,000
Includes:
- Transfer of brief from your floppy disk to CD.
- Up to 100 Hyperlinks.
- Six CDs with the completed CDBrief.
- Delivery of CDBrief to your office.
- Completion within 3 weeks from your delivery of all required material
Second and later CDBrief on same CD: $900
Includes: All features of Basic CD
Advance copy of Hyperlinked record as aid to preparing brief: $150 plus $2.75 per hyperlink, $0.20 per scanned page, and $10.00 per CD-ROM copy.
Includes: Transferring the record to a CD-ROM, hyperlinking the index to that record, scanning any documents. Use this service if you want access to the record on CD-ROM during preparation of your brief. If the parties share the cost of this service, it will save the cost of each party preparing separate copies of the record.
Assistance with Pinpointing and Highlighting: $1.00 per hyperlink.
Includes: This service will help you in designating the point in a legal authority or record to which a hyperlink refers. We attach to each page of your brief the cited page from the legal authority or record, you mark on that attachment the pinpoint or highlighting, and send it back to us. We then complete the hyperlinking.
Additional Services
- Scanning documents: 20 cents per page for first 1,000 scanned pages, and 15 cents for additional scanned pages. These prices are for 8½" x 11" black and white documents. Please contact us for pricing on scanning larger or color documents. This price does not include OCR (Optional Character Recognition). Stapled pages are an additional 2 cents per page. Scanning is done at 200 dpi.
- OCR (Optional Character Recognition) of scanned documents: 8 cents per page. Price excludes any manual cleanup or editing of scanned documents. OCR allows computer searching of a scanned document.
- Splitting CDBrief among two or more CD-ROMs: $250 per additional CD-ROM. If the number of scanned pages is large, the extra CDBrief may not fit on a single CD-ROM. This charge covers the cost of splitting the CDBrief among more than one CD-ROM.
- Additional Hyperlinks, beyond 100 included in Basic CDBrief: $2.75 per Hyperlink.
- Highlighting or underlining: $4.50 per highlighting or underlining.
- Additional CD copies beyond 6 included with Basic CDBrief: $10.00 per CD.
- Expedited completion: please contact us for pricing.
- Obtaining cases or statutes: $13.50 for each case or statute, or $250 per brief plus $4.50 per case or statute, whichever is less.
